What is Encinitas Arts Alive?
Encinitas Arts Alive is a 25-year community art project featuring original art painted on banners by local artists and displayed along the Historic Coast Highway 101, stretching from La Costa Avenue to Cardiff.
These vibrant banners beautify the community before being auctioned, featuring a mix of local themes and artistic expressions.

Key Details about Arts Alive
Banner Display & Auction: The primary function is to display local art on lamp posts along Highway 101 and in Cardiff, culminating in a live auction event, often held around summer, where residents and visitors can purchase the original artwork.
Community Art Initiative: The event, associated with the Art Can’t Hurt You - The Morgan Mallory Art Foundation, aims to celebrate local culture and support artists.
Location: The banners line Coast Hwy 101 beautifying the Leucadia, downtown Encinitas, and Cardiff-by-the-Sea communities.
